It’s hard to believe that it’s been two years since we last hosted our annual music festival. As society begins to return to normal, we are excited to announce that we are moving forward with plans to host MusicFest once again!
Despite the pandemic dampening social activities, EAMF continued to work on community-minded projects. In March 2020, we began our efforts to thank community heroes with free meals. We donated $250, twice a week, to participating restaurants to cover take-out food for front-line workers who just didn’t have the time or energy to cook when they got home from their shifts. This lasted 12 weeks–through the height of the pandemic. Then, during the summer of 2021, we presented our “Summer Music Series” and sponsored music for seven events, drawing business to local bars and restaurants throughout the summer, many of which were no charge to the public.
